Sturges Park Bandshell Area Improvements

The City of Buffalo Parks & Recreation Department and the Parks Advisory Board recently finished the new tiered seating area in front of the bandshell at Sturges Park.

The Parks Advisory Board has had this new design on it’s agenda for a few years and decided on the tiered grass approach as it was more economical to construct and is easier to maintain. The new tiered hillside makes it easier and safer to watch performances at the bandshell from your lawn chair.
