Lions Park

Busy Park in the Center of Buffalo with Giant Play Structure

Lions Park is located off 2nd Street NE with the playground entrance closest to 3rd St NE just south of Discovery Elementary School. Lions Park is known for its Giant Play Structure which will keep your kids busy for hours which includes slides, tunnels and much more. The playground area also has (2) swing sets, a merry-go-round and spring riders.

Lions Park has (2) fenced baseball/softball fields that are used in the spring /summer by Community Education's Jr. Bison Baseball program and both Buffalo Baseball and Softball use these fields for their annual summer tournaments that bring in many visitors to the Buffalo area. The park also has various open spaces with backstops that can be used for baseball, football, kickball, soccer, and softball.

In the winter, the park features an outdoor hockey rink with warming house that always seems to be busy with kids wanting to get outdoors during the winter months.

In the middle of the park is a Pavilion/Shelter that can be used/rented for family reunions, grad parties, neighborhood gatherings or any family gather that you might have.  This park has so many amenities that your family will never run out of things to do.
