Griffing Park

Located on the South Shore of Lake Pulaski

Griffing Park is the "Gateway" to summer fun on Lake Pulaski. The west side of the park has a public boat launch that is used frequently by fishing and pleasure boats. If you don't have your own boat then rent one from the City of Buffalo Parks & Recreation Department: Pontoon, Kayaks, and Stand-Up Paddle Boards are available for rent from June through Labor Day.  The rental shop also rents our bikes and doubles as a concession stand where you can get snacks, ice cream and cold beverages.

The park also is the site of many family gatherings and get togethers as there are (2) Pavilions/Shelters that can be reserved (PDF) to make sure you have space for your event. There are charcoal grills for your picnic/BBQ, play area for the kids, fishing pier, and sand volleyball court that will make your stay at Griffing Park a memorable one. If not reserved ahead of time, the shelters are on a first come, first served basis.

Walkers enjoy a quick trip through the park on the paved trail that hooks up to the larger Buffalo Parks Trail (PDF) system and connects with the path that runs along Pulaski Road.
