Community Investment
With a desire to invest in and help our community, City Staff started a cereal challenge between their campuses. Staff were assisted by family members, friends, facility users and some local businesses such as Coborn’s, Cub, Kwik Trip, and Target. Total boxes/bags of cereal collected are 1,762 along with monetary donations in the amount of $321.00 were presented to Mr. Naaktgeboren at the April 3, 2023, city council meeting.
Special thanks the Susan Johnson, City Clerk, for organizing the event and the Buffalo Parks & Recreation Department for delivering the cereal to the Buffalo Food Shelf.
